Objective

Much of my career is spent as a creative arts teacher or community extra-curricular organizer for children and youths in various communities in Australia, UK and the Caribbean. Having had these experiences, I would like to pursue other possibilities in administration, public relations and or (entertainment) management.

Professional Profile

§      Developed the Performing Arts Curriculum for the Culture and Artistic Formation program for the St. Maarten Academy.

§      Initiated Community Schools in the UK and St. Maarten.

§      Established several Youth Dance Companies in Australia, the UK and the Caribbean.

§      Hosted several educational workshops for students, teachers and community organizers.

Dance

§      Production Director for theatre and dance in numerous community events.

§      Choreographer for several music videos and low budget theatre productions.

§      Dancer in several companies across the UK, Australia, Jamaica, Canada and St. Maarten.

Community Development

§      Founder of “The Independent Artists’ Foundation,” St. Maarten.

§      Founder of ACE Dance Company and Junior West Berkshire Youth Dance, UK.

§      Ashe Dance Agency UK.

§      Kofi Walker Dance Theatre Studio, St. Maarten.

§      Outreach volunteer for the Jamaica Aids Support group.

§      Coordinator for numerous performing arts and after school projects.
